چکیده

Klebsiella species are one of the major causes systematic infections, theses gram negative organisms also capable housing various resistant genes to resist potency conventional antibiotics. These observations account for need assess antibacterial activity Gentamicin and natural products against Klebsiella. A total fifty (50) clinical isolates different pathological sources were collected from four Teaching Hospitals in Southwest, Nigeria. The identification all was done using biochemical tests. Antibiogram carried out on 50 multiple antibiotic discs sensitivity honey agar diffusion method. In antimicrobial susceptibility test honey, two undiluted samples (Honey Refined Honey B Natural) showed high 1:2 1:6 aq. dilutions less isolates. used at concentration 4.0µg/ml has great but basically lower than each honey. occasion therapeutic disaster with gentamicin or any other associated antibiotics, offers an appropriate improved alternative dealing infected burn wounds infections like urinary tract nosocomial etc.

Antibacterial Efficacy of Lytic Bacteriophages against Antibiotic-Resistant Klebsiella Species

Bacterial resistance to antibiotics is a leading and highly prevalent problem in the treatment of infectious diseases. Bacteriophages (phages) appear to be effective and safe alternatives for the treatment of resistant infections because of their specificity for bacterial species and lack of infectivity in eukaryotic cells. The present study aimed to isolate bacteriophages against Klebsiella sp...
